Farmers Market

The Methven Farmers Market is situated around the Centennial Oak in the Square - Main Street Methven and is held every second sunday.

 

Summer Hours: 9.30am - 12.30am

February 12 & 26
March 11 & 25
April 8 & 22

Turnbulls Meats

For connoisseurs of quality locally grown beef, pork, hogget and venison. This is all sliced to order and the quality can not be beaten. Turnbulls sausages are made from a family secret and are simply delicious.

 

Braesby Farms Natural Honey.

Made from Canterbury bee hives - the wonderful flavours include: Manuka, Kamahi, Rata and Beach Honeydew - each has a distinctive taste. Honey - spread it around.

 

Fat Alberts Smoke House

Produces a selection of fine gourmet products such as gluten free sausages, smoked roasted salmon, smoked duck breast, gravadlax, smoked salmon pate', smoked venison and more.

 

The Coffee Guy.

Grab a smooth rich shot of coffee from The Coffee Guy. The beans are ground fresh and the coffee is hot to your hand in no time.

 

Barkers Lodge Bagel Chips

Crisp and crunchy, these bagels are baked to perfection and the smell is heavenly. Just great for a quick bite. or a light and easy snack to share when you have friends around. They are also make a fantastic filler for school lunches. Flavours are Garlic, tuscan, parmesan and lots more - you will want to eat the whole bag!!

 

Staveley Baking Co

E-normous, unbelievably tasty hand-made sausage rolls. Staveley Baking Co has eight flavours to tempt your taste buds! After you have enjoyed one of these divine sausage rolls, then you must have one of their american style chocolate chip cookies.

A community table is available to anyone wanting to see surplus veggies, fruit etc on a casual basis. Space can be booked up to the day before the market by calling

One community fund raising stall is also permitted per market. This can be anything from face painting to sausage sizzles, cake stalls and beyond.
